Tour de Shane 2018 Well after the winter and early spring that we have had we could not have asked for a better day for the TDS. Neither could we have asked for a better location than The Bishops Palace adjacent to the Cathedral and inside of the old City walls of St Davids provided a spectacular back drop. It was great to have Shane, his friends and family down for the ride. Even though the ride is part of Shanes fundraising and awareness work for Velindre Cancer Centre I think they all will agree it’s not a bad ride to prepare them all for

To set the scene – Coast path Marathon The St Davids Day weekend celebration on the most westerly tip of Wales was shaping up to be an interesting one! Britain’s smallest city was gearing up for the annual celebration of the principalities patron saint, with a children’s dragon parade, civic functions, cawl competitions, packed pubs, live music and so on. Whilst We had 305 runners and their entourage heading our way from the four corners of the UK, plus The Beast from the East making its way uninvited from the Arctic. Whilst not to be left out Storm Emma started making its

A Little Reflection and time to move on As we say goodbye to 2017 and hello to 2018 we all tend to have a little reflection on what has been, and to make plans for what’s ahead. Well what can we say that hasn’t already been said? Well let’s start with a big thank you to Luke Harding and #TeamHarding for marshalling and supporting the event and in turn allowing us to support Luke’s fundraising efforts, he certainly picked a good one to come along to, we hope to see you again and we really appreciated Luke’s efforts in standing out on the finish line till the end, your fight makes a 4 mile battle through the freezing ponds and icy mud a little less dramatic! But saying that we are not taking anything away anything from those who did

The Amman Adventure 2017 Well the last rider was in literally 8 hours before the hurricane Ophelia struck Wales! which would of put that “slight” headwind through the Beacons into context! Overall a great day out and although this is not a race the timings below are a guide as to how you feared with the rest of the pack and in your gender. The clock started at the mass start, We do appreciate some left before and after this. Also to allow for the half a dozen who did there own 60mile route! We’ve separated you from the rest. As always if you

When you’ve been up Everest and touched both poles what do you do on a Saturday morning for fun!?! Well it would appear head down to St Davids and partake in the Ramsey Island 3 Peaks! The event is very simple, A four mile route with 3 “modest climbs!” an exhilarating rib ride to the starting point, which was made a little bit more special due to the high tide and lively swell in the sound! All of which made alighting the craft a “do I keep my lifejacket on” moment! The route itself is challenging but spectacular
