A Little Reflection and time to move on As we say goodbye to 2017 and hello to 2018 we all tend to have a little reflection on what has been, and to make plans for what’s ahead. Well 2017 wasn’t too bad at all, It was billed by Visit Wales as the “Year of Legends” we were lucky enough to work with a few of these over the 12 months! The year also saw the end of the Whitesands Challenge, (a few legends made there!) The birth of The Ramsey Island 3 Peaks, The Tour de Shane and a couple

Well what can we say that hasn’t already been said? Well let’s start with a big thank you to Luke Harding and #TeamHarding for marshalling and supporting the event and in turn allowing us to support Luke’s fundraising efforts, he certainly picked a good one to come along to, we hope to see you again and we really appreciated Luke’s efforts in standing out on the finish line till the end, your fight makes a 4 mile battle through the freezing ponds and icy mud a little less dramatic! But saying that we are not taking anything away anything from those who did

The Amman Adventure 2017 Well the last rider was in literally 8 hours before the hurricane Ophelia struck Wales! which would of put that “slight” headwind through the Beacons into context! Overall a great day out and although this is not a race the timings below are a guide as to how you feared with the rest of the pack and in your gender. The clock started at the mass start, We do appreciate some left before and after this. Also to allow for the half a dozen who did there own 60mile route! We’ve separated you from the rest. As always if you

When you’ve been up Everest and touched both poles what do you do on a Saturday morning for fun!?! Well it would appear head down to St Davids and partake in the Ramsey Island 3 Peaks! The event is very simple, A four mile route with 3 “modest climbs!” an exhilarating rib ride to the starting point, which was made a little bit more special due to the high tide and lively swell in the sound! All of which made alighting the craft a “do I keep my lifejacket on” moment! The route itself is challenging but spectacular

Whitesands Challenge 2017 Or should it be called the Ponty Challenge with the Doyles, Tierney’s, Platel’s, Aston, and Williams’s no fewer than 9 valley boy’s n girl took part! But whatever the event that kicked it all off is no more! Yesterday was the finale and what can we say!!! Well I’m not sure if its age catching up with everyone or the fear that Phil Stonelake was going to show up and beat everyone one more time but the “competitive bunch” all decided to form teams, with much thought going into tactics and formations and little for friendships. With

The Ramsey Island 3 Peaks, which on paper was a 4 mile run with 659ft of Elevation. The reality however was Meet at St Justinian, Catch a Voyages of discovery Rib across Ramsey Sound, with a diversion to have a play in the Bitches, followed by a very testing run and another exhilarating Rib Ride to return. Now if you
